JJFC Programs

Fall training starts the week of Sept 2nd!

Our Travel program consists of Boys & Girls teams from U9-U19 age groups competing across all levels of the WYSL (Westchester Youth Soccer League), with some of our more advanced teams competing in the WYSL Premier level, Westchester Cup competitions and NYCSL (New York Club Soccer League - NY State Cup competitions).

Our Travel program is supported by our U7-U8 Development Academy, where we run our own U7-U8 Skills League for the creation of future U9 Travel teams, with the DA practicing 2x per week with organized friendly games on Saturday afternoons including festivals and tournaments.

All Travel U9-U19 teams practice 2x per week with games on a weekend! All practice and games schedules are uploaded into individual Team SI PLAY accounts, showing yearly calendar of events that you can access via the app or on your desktop computer. Our Travel teams practice and play year round consisting of Fall (August - Nov), Winter (Jan - March) and Spring (April - June) Seasons. Each Fall & Spring Season is supported with "Pre-Season Training" and (optional) Summer Tournament teams.

Our Indoor Winter Training consists of a highly technical and decision-making curriculum focused on 10-week block (Out-play/Out-think & Own-ball, Own the Game) which consists of 1v1 receiving and decision making with pressure in-front, around, behind and to-side, along with additional releasing & receiving skills, small-sided numbered work and positional possession! We also run a Indoor Champions League competition full of SSGs across all ages and play in organized Futsal Academy League and Armonk Indoor Leagues.

We are proud to enter into several local tournaments throughout the season across all our teams, appropriate to their ability level and we host our Annual Labor Day Tournament (Fall Pre-Season event).

Individual Development:

Every child within our Travel program is supported with their own Individual Learning Plan, designed to maximize their talent and needs.

Development Academy

Fall training starts the week of Sept 2nd!

John Jay FC values lifelong learning and developing the 'Person' before the 'Player', which is why we see our U7s & U8s as the foundations of our program. At these ages, we want to promote skill, individualism, creativity and enjoyment by placing players in an environment where they can make mistakes and learn without fear of failure. Our U7-U8 (2013-2012) players will be developed in line with our curriculum to find solutions, play with freedom, learn skills and enjoy soccer at their speed!

Players attend up to 2 mid-week practices each week, and participate in our friendly games

Program consisting of 4v4 / variations on a Saturday (typically early morning or afternoon)

Adult League

Our Adult Co-Ed program is designed around a round-robin schedule for 4-6 teams that will play each Sunday morning on one of our Lewisboro School, or Park fields.  This is a friendly, albeit competitive league, where sliding-tackles are prohibited, for 30+ soccer players that want to stay in shape while playing this game that we have all grown up with.

In addition to the Sunday games, midweek "pick-up" games will also be scheduled for those that wish to attend. Pick up schedules can be found at https://sites.google.com/view/pickupsoccer/home or contact Steve Samaha at  stevesamaha@gmail.com to be on the email list.

Rising Stars

Rising Stars is a soccer program specifically designed as an instructional program for boys and girls (K-8) interested in a completely non-competitive sports environment where fundamentals and skills of soccer are explored in an inclusive, controlled setting. It is also a great opportunity for siblings to play together. Practices will be held on Saturdays at Increase Miller #4 (Right Side of School) and run from 10:30AM-12:00PM.
