Goalkeeper Clinic: Spring Info TBA

This clinic will cover the basic fundamental techniques of Goalkeeping helping players refine this skills, while also introducing some tactical information and decision making for the position while also incorporating games to build their mentality.

Our Goalkeeper clinic is run by Coach Katie who previously coached goalkeepers at the collegiate level and Coach Kasey who is a current College goalkeeper and won 3 State Titles in her youth career also attending the USYS National Championships.

The JJFC Goalkeeper clinic is free for all current members so we encourage any players interested in this position to sign up and attend. Link below

Our skills clinic provides an extra opportunity for current players looking for additional practice time to improve their technical skills.

Travel Pre-Season Camp: Aug 26th-29th

We will hold an optional pre-season camp for all Travel players the week prior to the Fall season start. This camp provides players an opportunity to get touches on the soccer ball, sharpen their skills and work tactically with the coaches prior to the Fall season start.

For this camp we will mix certain age groups together where relevent (7v7, 9v9, 11v11) to provide a better camp environment and pre-season feeling with the ability to scrimmage and coach within the game, while still having all of our team coaches involved with the group. This means we will have multiple coaches working with groups and benefits our players to learn from the experience and expertise of a variety of coaches, alongside their team coach for the season.

Everton Summer Camp: Aug 12th-16th

We are excited to welcome Everton International Soccer Camps to John Jay fields this summer!

This camp will provide players with coaching from their experienced international coaching staff using the curriculum developed by Everton’s professional club.

This camp is been offered to all players from the surrounding area so it is a great opportunity to not just experience and learn from different coaches, but to also play with and against players from other towns at this camp while staying local

Kristine Lilly Soccer Camp: Dates TBA for Wilton CT event

Kristine Lilly has won 2 World Cups and 3 Olympic Medals during her time on the US Women’s National Team and is still the most capped player while also being inducted into the US Olympic and US Soccer Hall’s of Fame. As a native of Wilton CT, she comes back each summer to run a soccer camp in her home town which is open to all players and sells out each year.

The camp is for players U9-U13 and is a great opportunity considering how close it is to John Jay to learn directly from Kristine and her experience which took her to the highest levels of the game. We would recommend this camp to any of our players, but especially girls as Kristine is a great role model for their aspirations in soccer.

Star Goalkeeper Academy Residential Camp 2024

For our aspiring goalkeepers looking for more a great option is the Star Goalkeeper Academy Residential Camp in CT.

This is run by Dan Gasper who is a world reknown Goalkeeper coach having worked with 3 National Teams at World Cups including the Portugal team.

Having his knowledge and experience so close in CT provides an excellent Residential Camp option for any Goalkeepers in the club looking to take their game to the next level with a Residential Camp option
